Lane closures start Monday on Stevenson Expressway

CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - Nighttime lane closures are planned for the Stevenson Expressway starting Monday in the southwest suburbs.
Temporary, nightly lane closures will take place at various locations on Interstate 55 between from Weber Road to Willow Springs Road, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. Weekend lane closures will also take place on I-55 at Joliet Road and Route 53 for bridge repairs.
The closures are required for resurfacing work, IDOT said. Motorists should expect delays around work zones.
