Man, 22, shot in South Chicago
CHICAGO - A 22-year-old man was shot Saturday night in South Chicago.
He was walking on the sidewalk about 9:50 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Marquette Avenue when someone fired shots from a second-floor apartment, Chicago police said.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and head and walked to South Shore hospital where he was listed in fair condition, police said.
Area Two detectives are investigating.
