Man beaten up, shot in Chicago's West Ridge neighborhood
CHICAGO - Chicago police said a man was beaten up and shot in West Ridge early Saturday morning.
Police said the victim, 40, was in an alley near the 6100 block of North Hoyne around 1 a.m. when two people came up and attacked.
One pulled out a gun and shot him in the hand.
He was hospitalized in good condition.
