Man shot during argument on Chicago’s Northwest Side

An argument led to a man being shot and injured in the Hermosa neighborhood early Saturday morning.

Chicago police said the 44-year-old man was involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown male in the 4300 block of West North Avenue around 3:37 a.m. when he was shot in the groin.

The victim took himself to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition.

Police were not given information on the shooter. No suspects are in custody.

Area detectives are investigating the shooting.
