Man shot in the back on Chicago's Near West Side

CHICAGO - A man was shot on Chicago's Near West Side on Saturday night.

Chicago police said the man, who is about 27, was on West Madison near South Western around 6:25 p.m. when he was shot.

He was hit in the neck and back.

He was hospitalized in serious condition.

No one is in custody.
