(FOX News) - Daniel Fleetwood doesn’t think he will live to see the upcoming “Star Wars” movie, so he's begging the head honchos behind the highly-anticipated Dec. 18 release to let him watch the movie early.
Fleetwood, a 32-year-old from Texas, has terminal cancer and is currently in hospice care at home. His bid to see “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” early has gone viral, with two of the film’s stars, Mark Hamill and John Boyega, showing their support.
The actors that play Luke Skywalker and Finn respectively both retweeted local news story about Fleetwood along with the viral hashtag #ForceForDaniel.
From his home, surrounded by “Star Wars” memorabilia, Fleetwood spoke to news station KPRC2 and explained his obsession with the film franchise. He said he has written fan fiction about the films and camped out for movie tickets in the past.
