Officers pushed, bitten when responding to domestic disturbance

SUN-TIMES MEDIA WIRE - Two officers have been hospitalized with bite wounds after responding to a domestic disturbance in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The officers were responding to calls about a domestic disturbance at 1:44 p.m. in the 6800 block of South Elizabeth when they were pushed and bitten, according to Chicago Police. They were transported to a hospital with bite wounds.

Two males were in custody after the incident and charges against them were pending, police said.
