Police release photo of suspect in Lincoln Park restaurant burglaries

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect in two restaurant burglaries that happened early Friday in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood.

The burglaries happened between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m. Friday at restaurants in the 1900 block of North Clybourn and in the 1300 block of West Fullerton, according to a community alert from Area Central detectives.

The suspect is described as a black man between 40 and 50, 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 and 170-190 pounds, police said. He forcibly entered the restaurants and stole property.
