Police searching for family after postal worker finds boy, 3, wandering Chicago streets alone

Police are searching for the family of a toddler who was found by a postal worker wandering the streets of Chicago alone on Monday.

The 3-year-old boy was found about 2:10 p.m. near 74th Street and Clyde Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood, police said. The boy was only wearing underwear when he was found.

He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition. No one is in custody, police said.

The Department of Children and Family Services was notified, and Area Central detectives are investigating.
