Police still searching for 28-year-old missing medical student

CHICAGO (SUN TIMES WIRE) - Chicago Police are searching for a 28-year-old medical student last seen nearly two weeks ago in the South Side Hyde Park neighborhood.

Ambrose Monye was last seen April 22 near 55th Street and Lake Park Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Area Central detectives.

He is described as a 5-foot-10, 180-pound black man with black hair, brown eyes and medium complexion, police said.

Monye was set to graduate from medical school in May, according to his family.

Police said he was known to hang out at coffee shops in the Hyde Park neighborhood, and frequent the John Crerar Library at 5730 S. Ellis.
