Seattle man threatens bouncer with spear, targets cops with 'Batarang,' police say
(FOX NEWS) - Authorities in Seattle arrested a man Monday after they said he threatened a bouncer with a spear and threw a “sharp, black, Batman-style throwing star” at a police vehicle.
Police said the “Batarang” was embedded in the lower front end of their SUV.
The incident occurred at a bar at around 6:30 p.m. when the man swung a knife attached to a metal pole at a bouncer. Police were called to the scene and chased the man. He then allegedly threw the Batarang at their vehicle.
The unidentified 23-year-old man was arrested on a felony assault charge. Police said they’re also seeking weapons and obstruction charges.
