Shedd Aquarium announces 2018 free days

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - The Shedd Aquarium will be free to Illinois residents on select days throughout the year.

The aquarium will offer Illinois Resident Free Days on the following days:

  • January 15, 18, 19, 22-26
  • February 2, 14
  • June 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19
  • September 4-30
  • October 3, 10

Qualifying visitors will have full access to the aquarium’s permanent exhibitions, aquatic presentation (subject to availability), and the seasonal Stingray Touch experience.

Proof of residency must be provided in-person when obtaining tickets. Admission can be upgraded to include the 4-D experience for $4.95 per guest, according to the aquarium.
