CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - It's gonna be a great year at Six Flags Great America.

The Gurnee theme park will have its longest season ever, starting April 21 and extending all the way to New Year's Eve.

A new roller coaster called Mardis Gras hangover will also debut around Memorial Day.

And for the first time, Six Flags will be open for the holidays.

A spokeswoman says Six Flags Holiday in the Park will be a new winter tradition in Chicago.
Holiday in the Park will include light shows, nightly tree lightings, and fire pits for making S'mores.

Six Flags says it will be the largest holiday celebration in the Midwest.
