Suburban school district transforms six schools into pumpkin patches

MATTESON, Ill. - Some suburban students got a fall surprise Friday!

Six Matteson District 162 schools were turned into pumpkin patches.

More than 2,000 pumpkins were handed out. 

This event was meant to give students an unforgettable experience after field trips were canceled due to COVID and bus shortages over the last two years.
