‘The Masked Singer’ Season 13 introduces Lucky Duck in sneak peek
LOS ANGELES - "The Masked Singer" will return for its lucky Season 13, and this time, there’s a brand-new sleuth in town: detective Lucky Duck.
With less than two weeks to go before the season premiere, FOX is debuting a feathery mystery celebrity, who’s on a mission to crack the case and spill the season’s lucky secrets.
Lucky Duck joins ‘The Masked Singer’
What we know:
According to FOX, Lucky Duck, will be pointing out subtle hints and offering up tasty tidbits throughout the season to help fans guess which celebrities are hiding beneath the masks and elaborate costumes.

"Think of me as your personal good luck charm," Lucky Duck said in a sneak peek video. "Join me on this ‘duck, duck, goose’ chase as we roll the dice and crack the case of the mysterious masked warblers."
What we don't know:
It's still unclear who the detective is. Fans will need to wait to find out.
Move over Cluedle Doo
The backstory:
Lucky Duck will be bringing the same knack for mystery-solving that made Cluedle Doo a fan favorite in Season five.

Cluedle Doo, who also offered clues throughout the season, turned out to be Donnie Wahlberg, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg's husband.

What we know:
Panelists Ken Jeong, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, alongside host Nick Cannon, will return for Season 13.
The series will commemorate acclaimed franchises "Shrek" and "Ghostbusters," along with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of The Grand Ole Opry. The new season will also pay tribute to the Rat Pack by honoring the iconic crooners with salutes to their music catalogues.
"The Masked Singer" will also see the return of fan-favorite themes such as "Soundtrack of My Life," "Decades" and "Boy Bands," with other all-new themes including "Olympus: Unmasking the Gods" and "Carnival."
The themes will be woven throughout the performers’ song selections, costumes and set design, and may even provide clues as to who is under the mask!
"Today we’re on the case to spill the new season’s lucky secrets," Lucky Duck added.

The new season will also feature 15 all-new costumes. Those costumes include Fuzzy Peas, Cherry Blossom, Ant, Paparazzo, Space Ranger, Bat and Griffin.
Season 13 of "The Masked Singer" premieres Wednesday, February 12 on FOX. Season 12 is streaming now on Hulu.
