Trader Joe's recalling salads that could contain shards of glass or plastic

Trader Joes recalls salads

WASHINGTON (Fox 32 News) - Trader Joe’s is recalling some ready-to-eat salads because they could contain shards of glass or plastic.

The White Meat Chicken Salad, Curried White Chicken Deli Salad and the Turkey Cranberry Apple Salad sold in Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Idaho, Texas and Washington are being recalled.

They had a “use by” date between 11/10 and 11/21. The recalled salads all have a USDA inspected code of P-40299.

If you purchased any of these fresh salads with the affected codes, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund. If you have any questions, you can call Trader Joe’s Customer Relations at (626) 599-3817.
