Crash in Chicago’s northwest suburbs leaves 5 people hurt

WOODSTOCK, Ill. - A crash in northwest suburban Woodstock left five people, including three children, injured on Saturday night.
First responders were called to the scene of a two-car crash at the intersection of South Tyron Street and West Calhoun Street shortly before 10 p.m., according to the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District. They found a T-bone style crash involving a white minivan and a silver SUV which were both damaged.

Two women and a baby were in the white minivan, all of whom were taken to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital with minor injuries.
There were four juveniles in the SUV, two of whom were taken to a hospital with minor injuries while the other two were released at the scene.
The Woodstock Police Department is investigating the crash.
