We head to the final frame with the game firmly in hand. Lions lead 38-14, and are threatening again.
2:23 P.M. - Lions blow this game open
Jameson Williams blows by Nahshon Wright and is wide open for a touchdown.
The rout is on.

2:10 P.M. - Lions add to the lead
The Lions force a Bears' three-and-out, and follow that up with a field goal drive to add more points.

2:00 P.M. - Bears rule out defensive player
Star cornerback Jaylon Johnson has been ruled out of the game with a groin injury.
That's another blow for the Bears' defense.
1:40 - Lions cash in before halftime
That was a wild sequence. The refs ruled the Lions ran out of time in the half, but Isaac TeSlaa was ruled out of bounds after review. The Lions got first and goal with six seconds left and cash in.

1:30 P.M. - Bears get back in the game
Bears cash in on first and goal with the second touchdown to Rome Odunze.
The Bears will get the ball to start the second half.

1:15 P.M. - Lions take firm control
After the Bears' offensive line marches backwards and Caleb Williams is intercepted, the Lions drive right down the field for another touchdown.
Brock Wright scores. The Lions are in control until further notice.

1:00 P.M. - Bears hold
Ben Johnson gambles on fourth and one from his own 37, and loses. Then, the Bears' defense holds. Jaylon Johnson makes a wonderful lunge to break up a third-down pass.
However, Jaylon was shaken up after the play.
Luckily, the Bears survived without giving up points. Jake Bates hooked his kick left.

12:35 P,M. - Lions regain the lead
Touchdown, Lions. Ex-Bear David Montgomery plunges into the end zone to regain the lead for Detroit.
The Bears are struggling to pressure Jared Goff, as he's picking apart the Bears' secondary.

Touchdown: Bears get right back on the board.
Ford Field is LOUD, but the Bears' response is louder. Caleb Williams hits Rome Odunze, who does the rest for a 28-yard touchdown.

That was quick. Detroit scores on a Jahmyr Gibbs six-yard scamper. The Bears are behind early.

Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett was questionable this week with a knee injury. However, Cassie Carlson reported how Jarrett warmed up with the team during its pregame routine, and is hopeful he can play.
