Eagles beat Bears 16-15
CHICAGO (Fox 32 News) - The Chicago Bears ended their season on Sunday with a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Soldier Field.
The final score was Eagles 16, Bears 15.
The Bears had a chance in the final seconds of the game to win. Bears kicker Cody Parkey made a field goal, but the Eagles iced him. His next attempt bounced off the goal posts and was no good.
Bears fans walking out of Soldier Field generally did not want to speak with our crew, and many used so many swear words that we couldn't put them on TV anyway. Many blamed Parkey for the loss.
This was the first time Chicago was in the playoffs since the 2010 team won the division. It was quarterback Mitch Trubisky first playoff appearance.
The Bears had posted their best record since the 2006 team went 13-3 on the way to a Super Bowl appearance. Coach Matt Nagy won more games than any other rookie coach in franchise history, after John Fox led Chicago to a 14-34 record over the previous three seasons.
