Make Music Chicago brings tunes all across the city

Whether it's hitting a triangle, singing your favorite tune, or performing a concerto on the piano, we all have the ability to make music.

Big or small, Make Music Chicago is all about the creation of music. The completely free event is happening Tuesday across roughly 100 locations in Chicago.

The day-long event will include performances from Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Grant Park Orchestra, Lyric Opera and two-time Grammy-nominated Mexican folk musicians Sones de Mexico Ensemble.

Old Town School of Music's Harmonica teacher Skip Landt, the school's Uke instructor Lanialoha Lee join Make Music Chicago Artistic Director Kuang-Hao Huang on Good Day Chicago to talk about the event.
