New flu strain spreads as Chicago doctor raises concerns | ChicagoLIVE

A new strain of the flu is spreading across the country this season. Health officials say a mutation of Influenza A H3N2, known as subclade K, is driving rising cases in the U.S. and globally. Dr. Chris Colbert, a Chicago-area physician, says many of the patients he’s seeing have not been vaccinated.
