100 Black Men of Chicago prep for 19th Annual Benefit & Awards Gala
CHICAGO - Focused on mentoring and empowering African-American youth, 100 Black Men of Chicago is hosting their 19th Annual Benefit Awards Gala this Saturday, May 7.
Carl Tutt, president of 100 BMC, and Ronnie Voss, a UIC student who is part of the collegiate 100, join Good Day Chicago to talk about the organization's efforts in the community and what to expect from the gala, which is themed "Inspiring generosity -- When we give, lives change."
At the gala on Saturday, the organization will recognize Chicago city treasurer Kurt Summers and recently retired Macy's vice president of government and public affairs, Ralph Hughes.
