Brian Warner reacts to increased scrutiny of CPD

Brian Warner is the chairman of the Chicago Police Survivors and an 18 year veteran of the Chicago Police Department.  

In February 2011, Brian was shot on duty while making an arrest. He and his partner returned fire, killing the offender.  Brian says he struggled in his return to work and sought help to deal with this incident where he was diagnosed with PTSD.

After sometime and having to navigate difficult and uncharted path, it was determined Brian was "unfit for duty" and approved for full disability.  

Brian joined us LIVE on GDC to offer his reaction to the latest police shootings over the weekend and overall reaction to the increased scrutiny of the CPD.
