FOX Furry Friend of the Week: Adoptable cat Rebecca

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - FOX 32 News has teamed up with no-kill shelter PAWS Chicago to bring you an adoptable pet each week. This week, we're featuring an adoptable cat named Rebecca!

Rebecca is a pretty 2-year-old kitty who was living as a stray on the streets of Chicago before she found her way to PAWS.

Although Rebecca can be aloof here at the Adoption Center - don’t be fooled!  Rebecca recently spent several weeks in a foster home where she was able to relax and open up more. Her foster parents report that she enjoyed sitting near them to watch TV, and lovingly asked for head scratches and sprawled out on the floor for naps.

Rebecca is a great reminder that you can’t judge a book by its cover — even if she doesn’t come running over to engage with you at PAWS, her personality really shines once she’s in a home environment.
