FOX Furry Friend of the Week: Adoptable dog Jakki

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - FOX 32 News has teamed up with no-kill shelter PAWS Chicago to bring you an adoptable pet each week. This week, we're featuring an exuberant 8-month-old Bluetick Coonhound mix named Jakki!

Jakki is an energetic, super friendly, and attentive girl who is always the first dog to jump into the doggy pool! She enjoys cooling off in the water and would love to take trips to the dog beach to romp around and play!

Her favorite toy to play with are Kongs. She will play with them for hours if there’s a yummy treat in there for her.

Jakki gets along great with other dogs and would love a home with another doggy friend that has the same amount of energy and play style that she does!

Jakki is looking for a family that would be willing to help her master her basic obedience skills, a positive outlet for all her adolescent energy, such as taking her for runs or extra-long walks! A big backyard she can run and play in would be a bonus for this cutie!
