Naperville teen named Illinois ‘Top Youth Volunteer'

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - When she was just 15-months-old, she was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a rare genetic disorder but rather than letting it get her down, Angie Lee grew up to have it empower her.

The Naperville teenager started her own non-profit and was recently named Illinois' "Top Youth Volunteer" in this years' "Prudential Spirit of Community" awards.

Angie joined Good Day Chicago to talk about the honor and her non-profit "Angie's Hope."
