Puppy Pop-Up Adoptathon at Westfield Hawthorn

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - October is National Adopt-A-Dog Month, making it the perfect time to give a furry friend in a need home!

To celebrate, Westfield Hawthorn Shopping Center will be holding a "Puppy Pop-Up" this Saturday in partnership with Lake County’s Animal Education and Rescue.

Animal Education and Rescue founder and director Sandy Kamen Wisniewsk joined us LIVE on Good Day Chicago to tell us a bit more about the event and to share some tips on adoption and caring for your new pet.
