Windy City Ducky Derby next Thursday

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - You've seen the Chicago River go green for Saint Patrick's Day. Well next Thursday it's going to run yellow as tens of thousands of rubber ducks splash in for 11th annual Windy City Ducky Derby.

It all goes to benefit Special Olympics Illinois.

Joining Good Day Chicago with a preview is Special Olympics Illinois President and CEO Dave Breen along with athlete and duck ambassador, Allie Reninger.

The 11th annual Windy City Rubber Ducky Derby is happening next Thursday, August 4. You can adopt a duck for $5 for your chance to win lots of great prizes.
