14-year-old boy shot in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood

CHICAGO - A 14-year-old boy was shot in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.

Chicago police said the victim was a passenger in a vehicle near West 38th and South Spaulding when someone else pulled up and opened fire.

He was shot in the chest and hospitalized in good condition.

No one is in custody.
