15-year-old shot on West Garfield Park corner

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A teenage boy was shot Tuesday morning in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.
The 15-year-old was standing on the corner at Kostner and Jackson about 9:30 a.m. when someone in a white car fired shots, according to Chicago Police.
The boy was shot in the left ring finger and ran to the 4300 block of West Adams, where a bystander called police.
He was taken in good condition to Loretto Hospital, police said.
Police initially said the boy was waiting for a bus when he was shot.
