2 charged in downtown looting
CHICAGO - Two more people are facing felony charges for looting last month in the downtown area.
Crystal Williams, 33, and 29-year-old Alvin Thompson are each charged with burglary and looting, Chicago police said.
The charges stem from looting incidents early in the morning of Aug. 10, police said, when crowds of people broke into stores in downtown and on the Near North Side.
Williams and Thompson are expected to appear in court Friday.
