77-year-old woman injured in Lake View home invasion
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Police are questioning three persons of interest after a 77-year-old woman was injured in a home invasion Saturday morning in the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side.
Officers were called about a burglary in the 3600 block of North Magnolia about 6 a.m., according to Chicago Police. When they arrived they saw that the home’s rear door had been forced open.
The officers entered the home and found a 77-year-old woman lying on the floor with injuries to her face, police said. She was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where her condition was stabilized.
As of Sunday morning, three persons of interest were being questioned in connection with the home invasion, police said. Area North detectives are investigating.
