Amber Alert canceled after 2 kids found safe; person of interest still on the run
FOX 32 NEWS - An Amber Alert has been called off after the two abducted children were found safe, police said.
The person of interest -- their kids' father -- however, is still on the run.
The children abducted were 3-year-old Fernando Marez and 1-year-old Alexia Marez. Police say they were taken by 24-year-old Fernando Marez.
Police say the man physically assaulted the mother of the children and threatened to kill one of the kids.
The abduction occurred at 2009 Santa Monica Street in St. Charles, Missouri on Friday morning.
