A woman robbed a bank branch at gunpoint Saturday in the South Loop.

About 10:45 a.m., the suspect used a handgun to hold up the BMO Harris Bank branch at 1300 S. Wabash, according to the FBI.

She is described as a black woman, thought to be in her late 40s, standing between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-3, with a medium build and complexion and black hair, the FBI said.

The suspect was seen wearing a black jacket, a black hat, a gray scarf, black pants, black sunglasses and white shoes, the FBI said. She was also seen carrying a brown bag and a black backpack.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to her arrest. Tipsters should call the FBI’s Chicago Field Office at 312-421-6700.
