Authorities find thousands of dollars of marijuana in eviction home
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Fulton County Marshals preparing a College Park home for eviction made a big discovery. Marshals found more than $10,000 worth of marijuana.
Officials were at the home on Split Pines Court Tuesday when an officer found a suspicious bag.
Investigators said the drugs were packaged for distribution.
Authorities seized all of the marijuana from the scene.
Investigators said it will be transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Crime Lab so that it can be properly disposed of.
The Marshals said no one was in the home at the time of the discovery and so no one will be charged.
