'Beary' hungry bear breaks into Tahoe home
NORTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (KTVU) - A hungry bear broke into a home at Northstar in North Lake Tahoe.
According to the Placer County Sheriff's Office, the "break in" occurred Thursday afternoon.
The homeowners called the sheriff's office to report the intruder.
The deputies chased the bear out of the home after he snacked on some fruit and bread.
The sheriff's office is warning people in the area to be cautious as bears come out of hibernation.
