Black Caucus chairman adresses cheating probe of top cop's fiancee

The fiancee of the new interim police superintendent, Lt. Nakia Fenner, is in hot water after a DNAinfo Chicago report alleged she was involved in a cheating scandal that gave her help on the department's lieutenant's exam.

Ald. Roderick Sawyer (6th) swings by the Good Day Chicago set to address police accountability and the further implications of the ongoing investigation.

Sawyer, who also serves as the chairman of the Black Caucus, said although it is too early to comment on the Internal Affairs investigation, he is more concerned with Johnson's effect on the streets.

"I'm more concerned with what happens on our streets, what happens between the community and police, and what Superintendent Johnson's going to do about that" Sawyer said.
