Body recovered from Douglas Park on Near West Side
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A body was found Wednesday afternoon in Douglas Park on the Near West Side.
The body was recovered from the lagoon in Douglas Park in the 1200 block of Sarrar Drive at 1:52 p.m., according to Chicago Police.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed the fatality of an unidentified male, but did not provide additional information.
Area Central detectives are conducting a death investigation.
