LONDON (Fox 32 News) - Transgender teenagers will be allowed to share showers and bathrooms with girls during camping trips with Britain's version of the Girl Scouts.

The Daily Mail reports that the Girl Guides Association has instructed adult advisors to let Guides who were born male but who identify as female to share cabins and tents with girls as well.

The guidance applies to Girl Guides ages 5 to 25.

The Girl Guides also said that parents should not be automatically told in advance that a transgender Guide might be participating in an overnight excursion.
