Car crashes into fence surrounding Midway Airport

CHICAGO - A driver crashed into a fence surrounding Midway International Airport Saturday morning. 

The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) said a single vehicle accident caused damage to the sound fence on West 55th Street.

There were no reported injuries and the crash had no impact to airport operations.

Fence repairs are underway, the CDA says.
