92nd Annual Chicago Boat Show anchors at Stephens Convention Center
ROSEMONT, Ill. - Discover Boating Chicago Boat Show is anchored in a new home: the Donald E. Stephens Convention & Conference Center in Rosemont.
"We have a lot of activities for kids: the kids’ zone, there’s a stand-up paddle fest pool, there’s a trout pond, bumper boats for kids," said Darren Envall, Vice President of Midwest Boat & Sportshows for NMMA.
The show is marking 92 years in Chicago, moving from McCormick Place to Rosemont this year.
Envall noted that the new location is convenient for boat enthusiasts.
"We have over 460 boats on display, everything starting from standup, paddle boards, kayaks, personal water crafts, pontoons, everything that people would want to learn about how to get on the water. There’s other ways to get on the water. You can join a boat club instead of buying a boat. Another opportunity would be rentals," he said.
The show runs this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
