Chicago police officer struck by car in Lake View parking lot

CHICAGO - A Chicago police officer was hospitalized after they were struck by a vehicle in Lake View Wednesday night. 

The officer was on duty walking through a parking lot in the 800 block of West Addison Street when a woman ran into them. 

The officer was transported to an area hospital in good condition with a minor injury to the elbow. 

No fourth injuries were reported. Chicago police did not say any citations were issued.
