If you happen to see a man with prosthetic legs running a marathon in the Queen City Thursday, don't be surprised. It's just another day for Rob Jones.

31 marathons in 31 days. That's the mission for the double-amputate Marine Corps veteran. Jones refuses to let the loss of his legs stop him from walking, traveling, and even running races.

The combat engineer lost both legs when he stepped on an improvised explosive device (IED) in Afghanistan. The Marine was clearing a route through Taliban territory in July, 2010 when the bomb "found me before I found it," he told "Fox & Friends Weekend."

These days Jones has the same mission as he did before his accident, to "leave the world better than I found it."

And Jones is so close to his goal!
