East Garfield Park shooting leaves man seriously wounded
CHICAGO - A 33-year-old man was shot and seriously wounded Monday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.
The man was found suffering from several gunshot wounds to the backside of his body around 9:24 p.m. in the 3900 block of Madison Street, according to police.
Paramedics treated him at the scene and took him to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in serious condition.
It was not immediately clear how the shooting unfolded.
No arrests have been made. Area Four detectives are investigating.
