Elderly woman caught in crossfire on South Side, shot in foot

CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - A 58-year-old woman was shot in the foot when she was caught in crossfire Thursday afternoon in the South Side Washington Park neighborhood.
Two groups of males were shooting at each other in the 400 block of East 63rd Street at 1:14 p.m., and a bullet truck the woman in the left foot, according to Chicago Police.
The woman was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where her condition was stabilized.
Police said she did not appear to be the intended target of the shooting.
