Father Al Adamich: Catholic church in Evergreen Park celebrates priest's 100th birthday

EVERGREEN PARK, Illinois - Parishioners at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in the Chicago suburb of Evergreen Park celebrated the 100th birthday of Father Al Adamich on Sunday.
Adamich was born on May 15, 1922. He was ordained in 1948 and is the oldest priest in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Parishioners shared cake and memories with Father Adamich at the parish on Sunday.
