A former DCFS worker may be charged with child endangerment in the AJ Freund case.
The Daily Herald says prosecutors are investigating the actions of Andrew Polovin following a December 2018 report of injury to the Crystal Lake boy.
Polovin was a supervisor at the time, and closed the file.
