JOBS! UPS hiring nearly 3,000 workers in Chicago for holiday season
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) – UPS is hiring and currently has nearly 3,000 seasonal positions open, including driver-helpers, package handlers, delivery and tractor-trailer drivers. These positions could potentially become full-time.
• Santa’s Helpers: One of the largest needs this time of year is driver helpers – seasonal employees who ride with UPS’s brown-clad drivers to help deliver the deluge of holiday packages. While many helpers will join UPS for the first time this holiday season, some have been doing this for years, and many have unique stories to share.
• Ride Along: Want a first-hand look at what it’s like to be a driver helper during the busiest time of the year? We can set up a ride along with a local UPS driver so you can see what it’s like. You’ll suit up in a set of “browns,” and it’s a great way to work off some holiday calories.
