CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - A Montana man is accused of threatening to shoot a friend for posting a spoiler to the new ‘Star Wars’ movie on Facebook.
Arthur Charles Roy, 18, became extremely mad after a Facebook friend posted the subplot of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ on the social media site.
Court documents say that Roy sent a photo of himself with a gun to the victim. Police later discovered the weapon was actually a BB gun, and now Roy is facing a felony charge of assault with a weapon.
Roy had allegedly threatened to come to the victim’s school and shoot him. Therefore, on Friday, court documents say the victim’s school was temporarily put on lockdown.
