Man robs West Chicago bank at gunpoint

A man with a gun robbed a bank in West Chicago Tuesday morning in the western suburbs.

About 11:15 a.m., he walked in and took over the Fifth Third Bank branch at 1800 N. Neitnor Blvd. in West Chicago, according to the FBI.

The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said. No one was hurt.

He was wearing a black flat-bill cap with a Miami Heat logo, a gray hooded sweatshirt, oversized jeans and gray slip-on shoes, authorities said.
